Magnesia Brick for Electric Furnace

Product introduction of Magnesia brick

Magnesia bricks are alkaline refractory materials with a magnesium oxide content of more than 90% and magnesite as the main crystalline phase. Magnesia bricks are refractory bricks made of electrofused magnesia sand and high temperature sintered magnesia sand.

Features of Magnesia brick

Magnesia brick has high refractory, excellent resistance to alkaline slag, high load softening start temperature, but poor resistance to thermal shocks. Sintered magnesia brick to make magnesia brick as raw material, to crush, ingredients, mixing, molding, in 1550~1600℃ high temperature sintering, high purity sintering temperature products in 1750℃ or more. Uncast magnesium brick is in magnesium sand with appropriate chemical binder, stirring, shaping, drying and making.

Applications of Magnesia brick

Magnesia bricks are widely used in refractory industries, such as furnace coatings for steel production, ferroalloy fiber cable furnaces in steel industry, coatings of industrial furnaces for non-ferrous metallurgy, industrial furnaces for building materials, bodies of industrial furnaces for glass, high temperature calcination furnaces, vertical furnaces, tunnel furnaces, etc.
