Lightweight Silica Insulation Brick for Glass Kiln

Brief introduction of lightweight silica insulation brick

Silica insulating refractory brick with SiO2 content of more than 90% and volume density of less than 1.2g/cm ³ Thermal insulating silica refractory products. The mineral composition of silica insulating refractory bricks is 78% ~ 86% phosphorite, 13% ~ 15% cristobalite and 4% ~ 7% quartz. The change of silica crystal is closely related to the properties and uses of silica bricks.

Advantages of lightweight silica insulation brick

  1. Good thermal stability
  2. Small change rate of reburning line, durable
  3. Strong thermal insulation and low thermal conductivity

Details of lightweight silica insulation brick

Lightweight insulation silica is used as raw material, and its critical particle size is usually not more than 1mm, and the particles smaller than 0.5mm are not less than 90%. It is prepared by adding flammable substances into the ingredients or using the gas generation method to form a porous structure and burning. It can also be made into unburned products. It is mainly used in various parts of the kiln that require heat insulation or reduce self weight without direct contact with molten materials, without corrosive gas effect, and without rapid temperature change. It shall be used at high temperature and shall not contact with alkaline refractory. According to different materials, the maximum use temperature is 1200~1550 ℃.
